Hawthorn has released the following statement on premiership wingman Bradley Hill
"Hawthorn midfielder Bradley Hill appeared in the Dandenong Magistrates Court today on the charge of assault following an altercation on January 24.
Hill was offered a diversion program and accepted a $1000 fine
Hill notified the club at the time of the incident and has cooperated fully with police.
Hawthorn GM - Football Operations Manager Chris Fagan said:
"Bradley has kept the club informed throughout this entire process and was counselled on the matter in January.
"The club has decide to match the financial sanction of the court and as such Bradley will donate $1000 to Step Back Think, a not-for-profit organisation focused on the prevention of social violence.
The club now considers the matter resolved, and will make no further comment"
