Young Hawthorn midfielder Alex Woodward just can't seem to take a trick at the moment.

He made his comeback from his third knee reconstruction on the weekend for the Box Hill Hawks and while his knee came up well, Woodward later found out that he had completely ruptured his plantar fascia in his foot.

Although he will miss four weeks, experts do say that rupturing your plantar fascia is the best case scenario.

Team-mate and fellow midfielder Will Langford will also miss an extended period of time after suffering a punctured lung in Box Hill's 60 point win over Frankston on Sunday.
